Five victims stabbed during house party

On Saturday, June 20, 2009 at about 2336 hours, Chula Vista Police officers responded to a radio call of a large party in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue. The reporting party stated that someone had been stabbed. Officers arrived to find five victims with superficial, non-life threatening stab wounds.

Witnesses reported that several people had been fighting but no one saw a knife. Witnesses described one, or possibly two suspects who fled prior to the officers' arrival. The first possible suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 24-25 years old, wearing a white shirt. The suspect was described as being a possible gang member. The second possible suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, 6'3" tall, weighing about 200 pounds, wearing a collared shirt and blue jeans. There is no further information about the suspects at this time.

Witnesses describe the suspects as throwing punches in a large fight but no one saw the weapon that caused the injuries to the victims. Two victims were transported to UCSD, two victims were transported to Mercy Hospital and one victim was transported to Kaiser Hospital. None of the injuries were life threatening.
