Los Alamitos, CA – The 22nd Annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular is taking place on Saturday, July 4th at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos. The cities of Los Alamitos, Cypress, Seal Beach, the Community of Rossmoor, and the Joint Forces Training Base collaborate to host this annual event to honor the men and women of the military and celebrate our country´s 233rd birthday.

This year, the base gates will open at 2:00 p.m. in honor of Brigadier General Combs´ retirement and change of command at the Joint Forces Training Base. The event will include free activities like military displays, a World War II reenactment, and entertainment on the main stage featuring the 40th Infantry Division Band. Also, for a minimal cost, you can enjoy an extensive Kids Fun Zone, terrific food from several fabulous food vendors in the Patriot´s Picnic areas, receive great information from vendors in the JFTB Freedom Village Vendor Fair, and have a chance to win money by entering the 50/50 raffle. There will be flybys from military aircraft, before the event´s climax at 9:00 p.m. with one of the best and longest fireworks display in Southern California.

This function is free to anyone wishing to attend. Everyone over the age of 16 entering the Joint Forces Training Base must present photo identification at the main gate. A parent must accompany children and those who do not have photo ID. Lawn chairs and blankets are highly encouraged, as there is no bleacher seating. Alcohol, dogs and fireworks are NOT permitted at this event and free parking is available, but motor homes are NOT allowed on the Base.
