Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk Features Nintendo's Brain Games

WHAT: In the spirit of keeping the mind active at all ages and helping

to support the Alzheimer's Association efforts to promote brain

health, Nintendo and its latest "brain training" software will

sponsor the Alzheimer's Association's 2007 Downtown Los Angeles

Memory Walk. Nintendo product experts will be on hand to engage

attendees in the more than 15 fun, mentally stimulating

activities offered in Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a

Day and the fun visual exercises in Flash Focus: Vision Training

in Minutes a Day, both playable on the portable, easy-to-use

Nintendo DS(TM) video game system.

The Downtown Los Angeles Memory Walk benefits the Alzheimer's

Association and is part of the nation's largest event to raise

awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

More than 3,000 people are expected to attend the event, which

will include a two-mile fundraising walk and offer music, food,

family entertainment and other festivities.

WHO: Attendees of the Alzheimer's Association's 2007 Downtown Los

Angeles Memory Walk, including walk participants, celebrities,

elected officials, caregivers and families.

WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 4

Registration: 7 a.m.

Opening Ceremonies: 8:30 a.m.

Memory Walk: 9 a.m. - Noon
