He said Awdal region of Somaliland is planning to split from Somaliland, and people of Awdal are planning to destroy Somaliland. Megalommatis should know that Awdalites were the first people to support Somaliland sovereignty.
Suldaan Cabdiraxmaan Jaamac Dhawal of Samaroon on last Sunday proudly stated that the people of Awdal were the first to come up with the idea of establishing peace and government in Somaliland. Dhawal, highlighted the importance of protecting the peace in Somaliland in order to win international support to the Somaliland Cause. So, who is right now!!! The Suldaan – chief tribe of Awdal – or the trash-talker Megalommatis! According to Dhawal, Awdal is an integral part of Somaliland, and will continue being part of it.
The President of Somaliland is from Awdal, so we can say Awdalites are making history in Somaliland. Megalommatis is trying to damage the image of Somaliland by using tribalism as tool to achieve his personal and master´s objectives. He described Somaliland as "Habar-Awal State". Do that trash-talker Megalommatis know that Habar-Awal tribe has least access to current government including the Parliament, Government and House of Elders in addition to the Political Parties… Today leaders of Parliament, Government and House of Elders in addition to Political Parties are all non-Habar-Awal.
Megalommatis said that Isaaq tribe of Somaliland and Ethiopia is not ethnic Somalis, so he should tell the world what is the origin of Isaaq? Are they Turkish or Greek? Or may be Barbarians? Every Somali intellectual can easily understand the propaganda of Megalommatis and his baseless allegations to fail Somaliland.
Today, All Somaliland regions are under its control including Lasqorey City that joined recently the democracy instead of tribalism and dictatorship in Puntland. Somaliland from Sool to Awdal is free today and deciding their destiny by voting.
"DIR", which is not real tribe name in Somalia, is been used for political gains and to downgrade some tribes. The major tribes like Darood and Hawiyo introduced such name to win more votes in the parliament and to keep all other tribes under one package "DIR", who are entitled get similar share of Darood and Hawiyo.
In Somali Culture, Tribe means belonging to one tribe of one grandfather like Darood, Hawiyo, Samaroon, and Isaaq…etc; all these tribe names belong to people who are from one grandfather. But DIR is not name of lived human being and the history did not report that DIR was man. How Samaroon of Awdal and Raxanwayn, deep into southern regions of Somalia, will be from one single grandfather ad per DIR terminology? DIR is politically motivated name and entered in Somali history awhile before 20th Century. So, the Bogus and Propagandist Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis should read the Somali history further.
Megalommatis highlighted that members of Hawiyo tribe financed SNM during fighting against Siyad Barre. The fact is that every free person supports the freedom fighters, and SNM was removing the most dangerous killer in the modern history of African, Siyad Barre, who disturbed all Somalis.
SNM started struggle after SSDF members were bribed by Siyad Barre and they laid down their weapons. Former SSDF member told me that Siyad Barre government distributed 10,000 Somali Shilling to every SSDF fighter who lay down his weapon and all laid down. This was the end of SSDF. SNM/USC led by Abdurrahman Ahmed Ali and General Mohammed Farah Aideed destroyed Siyad Barre and their followers in both Mogadishu and Somaliland. Majority of ONLF leaders were high-ranking officers in Siyad Barre´s government.
Megalommatis, in his earlier articles, linked between EU and Kurdistan – Iraq, which is quite different in all the means. He said that if Kurdistan fails than the EU will disintegrate too. What a kidding propaganda!!! In same manner, he accuses Somaliland for baseless allegations. He added if the world recognizes Somaliland then ASIAN, AFRICAN and even EUROPEAN countries will disintegrate!!! Wow…. Arabic proverb says "Tell false but make it close to true". Megalommatis, who uses tribal-minded Somali editors, is paid missionary by Somali tyrants who are trying to achieve their tribal interest. These tyrants believe Somaliland is the only danger to their existence, because they are all registered as war criminals in Somaliland. The tyrants are mainly members of ONLF – a terrorist militia in the 5th Region of Ethiopia. They reside in both Somalia and abroad. They failed to understand that unity of Somalia finished, and 5th Region of Ethiopia will remain Somali-Ethiopian.
ONLF, with very minimal support between the residents of the 5th Region of Ethiopia, force the people to take arms against Ethiopian Forces or their family members get killed by ONLF it self. The Somali-Ethiopian citizens have representatives in the Federal Government of Ethiopia, and if they are missing some of their rights then it is the responsibility of the representatives to demand the missing rights in the Ethiopian Parliament.
Megalommatis, with no experience in Djibouti neither his tribal-minded Somali editors do, stated that French forced the Djibouti people to remain out of Somalia. This proves his little knowledge in Djibouti history. The people of Djibouti, bravely, demanded their independence and selected to remain independent rather than joining the failed state of Somalia. Djibouti government signed security protection agreement with France to protect their new integrity and sovereignty from the corrupted government of Somalia led by Mohammed Siyad Barre in 1977. There was high possibility that if France forces leave Djibouti, Siyad Barre could have attack and capture Djibouti in no time.
It is unfortunate to see people who failed to stabilize their own houses talking about Somaliland. Today, the children of Ogaden are dying for hunger and lack of proper nutrition and their educated brothers are writing articles against Somaliland on the internet. Somalis call such people cowards, who failed to face the reality in their own country. Independent sources confirmed that majority of the Ogaden Diaspora are meeting their relatives in Bosasso, Puntland. Why they don´t visit their towns inside Ethiopia, because they are all registered criminals due to their illegal support to ONLF.
Megalommatis named the elected President of Somaliland Dahir Riyale Kahin a Mafia Man, and the free country Somaliland a Mafia-Land. My question is who is Mafia? The ONLF, who is killing the people in Ogaden? Or the elected President by his people in free and fair election. I think the answer is, ONLF is the real mafia and criminals.
Illegal Leader Abdullah Yusuf and ONLF with their paid missionary Megalommatis:
The illegitimate President of Transitional Government of Somalia (TGS) Abdullah Yusuf is currently occupying Somalia under Ethiopian gun point. Yusuf imported about 6000 armed militia from Puntland, his birth place, to kill and take revenge from the innocent citizens of Mogadishu mainly Habar Gidir, Hawiyo tribe.
"The imported militia from Puntland kills the civilians and continuously rapes the women in Mogadishu more than the Ethiopians… They are enemies and cowards." Casha Maxamed Cumar told Reuters journalists. This was during the indiscriminate shelling by the Puntland Militia and their Ethiopian supporters against the civilians in Mogadishu.
Many Somali websites circulated audio clip of Abdullah Yusuf, talking to his Majeerteen tribesmen before invading Mogadishu. He said "You should support me to take revenge from the killing by General Mohammed Farah Aideed in 1992 against our tribe." Such and other similar speeches by the illegitimate leader show that War in Mogadishu is genocide against the innocent civilians of Hawiyo tribe.
ONLF, in other hand, support Abdullah Yusuf campaign in Mogadishu because that Yusuf is member of Darood tribe. And they need Darood man to lead Somalia to liberate 5th Region of Ethiopia or so-called Ogaden. They believe the united and strong Somalia can only make their dreams true.
ONLF´s notorious Turkey jackanapes and Media Advisor Propagandist Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis don´t speak against Abdullah Yusuf and his illegal campaign inside Mogadishu. He always focuses on so-called human rights violations in Ogaden, and misleads the world. He takes the idea of ONLF, who always describe Somaliland as "Enemy #1". Megalommatis don´t care the dying innocent people in Mogadishu at the hands of his ONLF friends and Abdullah Yusuf supported by misguided Ethiopians.
