Does Man Need More Evidence For God's Existence?

Ismail Imadudeen
We live our lives, and days go by; day in – day out, in a sequence of endless events and stories of love and hate, prosperity and poverty, justice and injustice, war and peace and so forth. A never-ending story of innovation and technological advancement; man became so conceited; he went so far and found the way to clone him self to create a better duplicate! With this advancement and superior technology, man finds him self overconfident with his power and limitless capabilities. Those capabilities, unfortunately, have brought about a few people who are very materialistic; who do not believe in any thing that can not be scientifically proven.

However, at a time when man goes so far with his egotism, God brings reality to him again to realize that he is still incapable and needs help and support. And God does this with what? With very simple, weak orgasms that can not be seen with man's naked eyes; so small, so feeble that even a hand wash can cause millions of them to vanish! Now with all those pandemics that appear every now and then; from SARS to the Bird Flue to the Swine Flue, man finds him self again in need for his creature, the Almighty God, asking aid and protection.

One might ask, why does the Almighty God do that? Does he feel happy with our suffering? The answer is of course 'no.' God established laws and norms that will prevail on earth until it comes to its end; those laws and norms entail that there should be always balance of everything, and that no creature should be superior and capable for every thing or else some other creatures will become extinct before their stated time. In fact, the Almighty God created every thing and gave man the mind and senses to rule and judge, but, unfortunately, man did not and does not do it right; pollution is everywhere, weapons of mass destruction are produced in bulks and killings and injustice are all over the place.

In fact, the Almighty God brings about those tribulations to teach humans to unite; to become more compassionate, to help each other and forget their greed and desire for dominance. Believe me sicknesses, famine and disasters do the work of wake up calls that bring people to their senses after a long sleep. This is the positive thing here about those phenomena.

So let's all come together, let's forget about our self-indulgence and let's abandon hate. Let's remember that God is there, and that the more we abandon revulsion, the more God will bestow His love and mercy on us.
