Swine Flu Partying Or Swine Flu Gone Wild

Judy Ramsook
When most people first learned of the highly contagious H1N1 Swine Flu, they panicked and stocked up on such items like: Hand Sanitizers, Antibacterial Soaps, Wipes etc.

And if that weren´t enough, a few city and state governments exercised more precaution by closing some schools and warned the public about things they should do to prevent themselves from being infected with the H1N1 Swine Flu.

The more attention the news story got, the more people panicked. Then, as life gradually returned to normal with less news of the outbreak making it to the airwaves, some people began to make fun of the Swine Flu.

Thinking that a stronger version of the H1N1 Swine Flu might return when the flu season begins later this year, some people are planning and/or already having Swine Flu parties in an effort to give themselves that particular flu, so if they do get it, their immune system will be ready to fight it.

But in the midst of it all, given all the hype about it, is it a case of Swine Flu madness, or is it Swine Flu Gone Wild?

And a stronger version of the Swine Flu could very well return, but why should anyone want to deliberately be infected with such a dangerous form of the flu? Even if they are trying to bolster their immune system for it.

Or are some people just asking for an epidemic.

Every year people get the common cold whether they want it or not. I don´t see anyone having a Common Cold Party just so they can strengthen their immune system to fight that. Do you?
