Valley Village Leader Pete Sanchez Endorses Paul Krekorian

NORTH HOLLWOOD – Pete Sanchez, former City Council candidate and leader of the Valley Village community, endorsed Paul Krekorian this week, another neighborhood advocate to endorse Krekorian. With Sanchez, and former candidates Tamar Galatzan and Mary Benson. Krekorian now has the support of the top-tier finishers in the primary. Their support accounted for about one-quarter of all votes cast on Sept. 22.

"I am convinced that there is only one choice for those of us who would like to see a more responsive and accountable City Hall," Sanchez said. "I am supporting Paul Krekorian to be our next City Council Member and I hope you will join me in casting your vote for him. During my campaign, I got to know both candidates and I have

studied their respective philosophies and vision. On December 8, we will make an important decision about the future of our city and our community when we choose between the two candidates. I am convinced that there is only one choice for those of us who would like to see a more responsive and accountable City Hall. I am supporting Paul Krekorian to be our next City Council Member and I hope you will join me in casting your vote for him."


Sanchez, a former president of Neighborhood Council Valley Village, received 796 votes (4.86%) in the first round.

"Pete repeatedly showed how one person can affect major change in his community – a primary reason why I am pleased to have his support on my campaign that is powered by grassroots support," Krekorian said. "I look forward to working with Pete in spreading our message of true reform for Los Angeles and showing Valley Village – and all of CD2 - that I will be their advocate in City Hall."
