The Best, Little Known Fictional Book Series Is A Five Star Delight

Bruce Collins
"The Unholy Deception" is the second book in Lynn Marzulli's Nephilim Trilogy.

The Trilogy is a cutting edge fictional series that takes true to life events, mixes them with a dose of theory, sprinkled with the flavor of suspense and served in a bowl of sound, spiritual doctrine.

As a result, "The Unholy Deception" is a five star delight. It's appeal is broad based and will thrill science fiction fans and lovers of suspense.

Obviously, this genre is very hot right now and Marzulli's "Deception" does not disappoint. Although the book's perspective is from a Biblical worldview (and explains that compellingly), it is the action and the sharp turns that keep the reader glued to the heart pounding action.

"Unholy Deception" tells the story of Mackenzie, a journalist who does not fully understand the evil that confronts mankind. Fortunately, his new friend, Johanen, knows of the unspeakable horrors all too well.

Their mission forces them to face issues that most of us want to avoid. Marzulli surgically incorporates phenomena such as crop circles, alien abductions, organized conspiracies and attacks on scriptural accuracy in a tight, plausibly scripted masterpiece suitable for the entire family.

The pursuit of truth marches the reader across the landscape of historical and pivotal locales. With the apocalypse at their doorstep, Mac and Johanen find the poise to look at it squarely.

Thought provoking, indeed, because L. A. Marzulli creates characters that are easy to relate to and understand. So, the question read between the lines goes something like this- if these events actually happen, would I have that same poise? and am I ready for it?

In my opinion, the Nephilim Trilogy is the best fiction series in the genre. As the former book reviewer of Monster Radio and the host of an internet radio show, I have read a lot of books this year. Marzulli's "Unholy Deception" and "The Revealing" are among the top 5. That's saying a lot.

I highly recommend "The Unholy Deception". For more information, visit Lynn Marzulli at www.spiraloflife.com.
