Self-hypnosis is an excellent tool for resolving challenges such as nervousness, overeating and smoking. These are all blocks to rejuvenation. While continuing this valid use of self-hypnosis, the SEVEN KEYS TO SELF-ACTUALIZATION (which I created in 1969 and have been building on ever since) also encourages self discovery, expansion of personal boundaries and the learning of new skills. It is a systematic program of personal growth which will enable you to achieve your HIGHEST potential mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

The first Key (Bronze) imparts basic skills which not only assist you in dealing with whatever you initially desired to work on, but also act as tools for moving beyond the need category and into self actualization. These tools can be useful permanently in your life as self hypnosis becomes a regular part of your personal growth regimen.

By developing the will to learn (a hunger for knowledge as strong in your mind as the hunger for food is in your body), you will have a method of gaining for yourself anything that can be taught--how to become a carpenter, actor, doctor, lawyer, how to make a million dollars, be a better parent, have vibrant health, long life and whatever else you desire. All these things can be learned from books, recordings, seminars, and personal instruction. Add then the determination to use the knowledge you absorb to manifest your goals into reality and there is nothing you can't accomplish.

The Gold Key includes deep body awareness and control of physical functioning, from producing anesthesia to improving athletic ability. Health and Rejuvenation is a module of the Gold Key. Whatever the mind imagines, the body will do. We've all heard the stories of POWs who came back playing a better game of golf than they had before years without practice--by doing the same kind of mental practice we teach through hypnosis.

Dr. Deepak Chopra, a medical doctor who also studied metaphysics, tells us we age the way we do because we see the people around us aging that way. He speaks of societies in which octogenarians and older calmly climb mountains, swim vigorously, ride horses, make a meaningful contribution to their community. No one expected them to retire to a rocking chair or a rest home in their later years so they didn’t.

Dr. Chopra discovered that we are constantly rebuilding our own bodies on the cellular level. He says we rebuild the lining of our mouths every 3 days, our livers every 6 weeks and our skeletal systems about every 6 months.

Why do we keep rebuilding old problems into our new bodies? Mostly because no one told us we don't have to--we were never taught that we could build healthier stronger bodies than we had even before injury, illness or age damaged us. Most of us age the way people around us age. Age is different in other cultures, primarily due to attitude rather than variations in food or environment. In cultures where no one expects people of 90 to be sitting in a rocking chair or dying in a rest home, they are instead out working productively, riding horses or climbing mountains for fun! According to Dr. Chopra, and now corroborated by practitioners all over the world, our bodies are capable of living to be 120 years old in a healthy condition. Yet even those of us who believe that consciously are unable to make our physical selves do it unless that belief is brought to the subconscious level through hypnosis. Healthy longevity is achieved through a combination of deep belief in this concept and a strengthened motivation for adopting healthier eating, exercise and sleep patterns.


What do you expect old age to be like and when will it start for you? Your answers to these questions and others like them will play a large part in determining whether these will be golden years of discovery and growing wisdom or garbage years of weakening and

withdrawal.

SUGGESTIONS TO ASSIST YOU IN ACHIEVING HEALTHY LONGEVITY (excerpts from my recording Health and Rejuvenation):

Relax from your toes to the top of your head. Breath deeply.

When you feel relaxed, give yourself these suggestions:

I feel myself resting now on the soft warm sand. I feel the light of the sun entering me, warming me, soothing and healing me, strengthening and energizing me. I feel the light within and without. I realize that problems, difficulties of all kinds, ideas and attitudes about aging that are negative for me are darkness, darkness is merely the absence of light. In the light, there can be no darkness. More and more my life is guided and filled with the light. Relax now, relax completely, feeling good, feeling relaxed. I feel the light strengthening me, energizing and healing me. It is clearing my mind of all past negative ideas about aging. I know that I am not a mind commanding a body or a body which the mind cannot control. I am a totally conscience being-- thinking, visualizing, creating on every level with every part of my body, my brain, my nervous system, my being. Every bit of me knows the effects of the passing years can be largely controlled by my thoughts, my beliefs. I believe in my ability to take care of my body, mind and spirit, to heal and to rejuvenate myself.

I feel within me a deep hunger for knowledge, a need to learn, a hunger in my mind as strong as any hunger in my body. This hunger remains with me and grows stronger with each passing moment until it’s a strong as I wish it be. I must feed this hunger each and every day, through reading, listening to recordings, personal instruction, experiencing, gathering information in every way I can. In addition to my hunger for knowledge, I have a need to use that knowledge, to use it for making decisions, to use in my daily life, to use it to bring health and energy and rejuvenation to my body. I enjoy learning all I can about health, nutrition, exercise and rejuvenation. It feels good to learn, it feels good to use my knowledge to be strong, healthy, vibrant, young and alive!
