It turns out that the list wasn't opt in and a few of the recipients got mad. I should have apologized instead of threatening to get my attorney involved. Although this happened 3 years ago I still get asked questions about it.
My belief is that my business continues to grow because we get results for our clients. If I didn't deliver than I would be out of business.
So, I want to take this time out to thank all my clients past, present, and future who understand that sending spam doesn't mean you can't do the job. But, if you do have a problem with an aggressive marketing firm that will put you first and help you achieve your goals and save you a bunch of money...then we may not be the agency for you.
However, if you can understand that we all make mistakes and that if other well known and respected companies hired us and chose us over thousands of other PR firms and ad agencies then we must be good at something.
