Are we facing a fake UFO/Alien attack in the future?

A recent article has suggested that a fake UFO/Alien attack might be staged to enable the NWO (New World Order) to take control of the planet (or at least the United States).

At first glance, this would seem like the kind of information UFO skeptics dream about (Manna from Heaven!), a chance to bring out all the old "tin-foil" hat jokes one more time. But let´s explore this a little more.

Many will remember (at least those old enough) a Radio Broadcast on October 30, 1938, where an adaptation of H. G. Wells´ classic novel "The War of the Worlds" was aired. The first half of this 60 minute broadcast consisted of news bulletins, which gave some listeners the impression that a real Martian invasion was taking place.

People were terrified and many fled their homes, believing that their lives were in real danger. It was perhaps one of the earliest examples of how media outlets can influence the public and how fear can control our actions.

As we all know, the Martians did not invade our planet and we have been under no alien threat since this time, or have we?

According to some reports, George Bush´s plan to put a base on the Moon is not just for scientific research, but to use this as an "outpost" for any potential Alien attack. Others believe that the NWO are using the possibility of an Alien invasion as an excuse to place more weapons in space (for more local purposes).

I must admit, I don´t see George Bush as the sort of guy who wakes up in cold sweats in the middle of the night shouting "I must protect the people from those darn Alien terrorists, we need a base on the Moon". But maybe someone has told him that there is oil there?

Some say that the UFO sightings are encouraged (by the CIA for example), as they help to hide the secret technology that is being used. This is very possible, there are a lot of very advanced crafts flying around, and the military would certainly prefer that the public think these are Alien, rather than secretly funded man-made machines.

One such secret is "Project Aurora" which by some accounts has a craft that can fly at speeds in excess of 8,000 miles per hour! This plane is believed to use something called a Pulse Detonation Wave Engine, and one person claims to have tracked such a craft from Area 51 to the borders of Russia/China, moving at this speed.

Logic dictates that the possibility of Alien life in our, or other galaxies, is almost a certainty, but we have been conditioned into believing that such Aliens would probably be hostile. If such "hostile" Aliens exist, what are they waiting for? Maybe they paid us a visit and saw how successful Bush was in Iraq and said to themselves "Let´s not mess with these guys"?

But seriously, if a simple Radio Broadcast can create so much fear, just imagine what someone could do with today´s technology and special effects (and a few UFO looking craft). The government has almost all of the MSM (mainstream media) at their disposal (not just CBS Radio in 1938), so it wouldn´t be too difficult.

Of course, some may say "What if it really is an attack by Aliens?" It could happen, but with so many conflicting reports going around, who would know?

I look at it this way. If an advanced race of people have traveled such a long distance (in crafts that are way beyond our technology) to kill us and takeover our planet, what can you do? If the attack is "fake", it would probably be best to apply the same thinking. The purpose would be to create fear and panic, so if you don´t respond in such a way, a fake attack will fail. If it is real, you won´t be changing the outcome!
