The Mysterious Powers of ELHASHEMY'S LUQAIMAT

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Elhashemy
I am in a mission to transform obese people allover the world from the OBESE state to the EX-OBESE state, through spreading my innovated "Luqaimat Diet Plan".

I innovated Luqaimat diet in Jan 2005. My first study group involved 345 non-diabetic obese patients with average age of 32 years, and average BMI of 45.5. They achieved breakthrough result as 313 of them (91%) lost an average of 88 pounds within one and a half years. Luqaimat diet is a lifestyle diet plan that doesn't depend on caloric counting, rather it depends on small meal volumes (Luqaimat in Arabic language) several times daily (7-10) and moderate diversified meal at the end of the day (as rewarding meal).

My diet became the fastest growing diet in Egypt and in other Arab countries (including Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait). Hundreds of web articles in Arabic and in English languages have been posted by many writers analyzing and praising the "Luqaimat diet".

These observed breakthrough results occurred mainly as a result of a number of mysterious powers that change the obese patients' lifestyle so that they comply with the Luqaimat diet non-consciously:

1. The Power of Expectations: Obese people who are confident that they have a great chance to succeed in losing weight through Luqaimat diet plan, will stick to this diet for long. If someone takes brand Aspirin, he usually will expect it to be more effective than generic aspirin and this leads to greater healing effect. This is known as the power of brand name or the power of expectation. If you are applying my Luqaimat diet perfectly; knowing that you expect to lose 72 pounds at the end of the first year, as thousands obese patients did; you will usually lose such amount non-consciously.

Nowadays, hundreds of Egyptian and Arab obese persons are following my diet plan, losing 7-10 pounds per month supported by such power of expectation since they know and saw some of their relatives who lost their weight on such diet and never regained their extra weight again. It is a lifestyle diet that depends mainly on daily training on these Luqaimat micro-meals. The average weight loss at the end of the first year is usually around 72 Pounds or when one reaches BMI 27 before that period.

2. The Power of Pleasure Tasting: Luqaimat is preferred to be of favorite foods especially those affecting mood positively such as chocolate, nuts, and fruits. On Luqaimat diet people can even eat, if they want, grapes, banana, dates, and ice-cream, but in small volumes. I innovated a very effective mood boosting and in the same time hunger blocking hazelnut, pistachios, chocolate spread, which I named: NUTPISTELLA. It is used as Luqaimat meals for 30 to 40 times per week – every other week. You can read about this miraculous hunger-blocking Luqaimat NUTPISTELLA in my page on American Chronicle.

3. The Power of Satiety: Luqaimat diet includes a medium-sized happy meal at the end of the day as a gift to the brain's reward centers; and in the same time to satiate the stomach. This medium sized meal can even be a crispy vegetarian pizza. Since there are no food restrictions; hence people usually accept this Luqaimat diet easily.

4. The Power of Caloric Restrictions: Scientists found that restricting food intake (as occurs in Luqaimat-sized meals) increase number of brain dopamine receptors, hence increasing the effect of reward feeling.

5. The Power of Convenience: Since Luqaimat diet is easy to apply, easy to maintain, and mood boosting, it can be maintained for life.

6. The Power Of Glucose: The brain's ability to enjoy calories in the form of sugar depends upon sugar's effect on the dopamine-rich reward center known as the nucleus accumbens, located in the mid-brain. In a study, at Duke University, researchers demonstrated that lab mice lacking the ability to taste sweet foods still preferred sugary water to regular water. This proves the high efficiency of Luqaimat because it contains meals that include carbohydrates and sweets.

7. The Power of Positive Non-Conscious Goals: This is an important psychological power. Non-conscious goals are goals that are triggered automatically. They result from frequent repetitions in the past, so that they become habits because they are linked to our memory. When we succeed at achieving a non-conscious goal we will be in a good mood without knowing why. This can even create a far better mood than if we achieved a conscious goal.

I will publish the details of this scientific diet plan in my upcoming diet book about my innovated "ELHASHEMY'S LUQAIMAT" by the end of 2008. I think it will be of great value for all potential EX-OBESE people.
