Obamaīs Berlin speech translated!

Ian Brockwell
In the opening part of his speech Barack Obama said that he was speaking not as a candidate for President, but as a citizen a "proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world".

Some have questioned his loyalties to America and criticized him for not "waving the flag" more. Many have also raised doubts about his true religious beliefs, saying that he is really a Muslim. Personally, I was beginning to think he was Jewish, after spending so much time meeting with Jewish organizations, visiting Israel and promising to defend Israel if attacked by Iran. Unfortunately, as a "fellow citizen of the world" I doubt if he would offer to defend his "fellow citizens" in Iran if they are attacked by Israel, but then maybe Iran doesnīt appear on his world map? As we know, his geography is not that hot and he recently announced that there are 57 States in America!

He then went on to say "I know that I don't look like the Americans who've previously spoken in this great city. The journey that led me here is improbable. My mother was born in the heartland of America, but my father grew up herding goats in Kenya. His father - my grandfather - was a cook, a domestic servant to the British."

Whilst his achievements are (or should be) of great encouragement to all black people in the USA (and other countries), one can not help feeling that his success was obtained at a cost. He is certainly not a domestic servant for the British (like his grandfather), but he has become a servant for different masters (the Elite). Obama may well become President, but many black people will probably regret that he doesnīt share the "dream" of a true leader like Martin Luther King, Jr.

Despite lacking the passion of Martin Luther King, Jr. it didnīt stop Obama from using a few "dreams" in his speech (his fatherīs "dream" and the "dream of freedom")

He then proceeded to give Berliners a history lesson about their own city, when perhaps he should have been studying his own history first.

Maybe his speech was written by someone in the New World Order, because he mentioned "and history proved that there is no challenge too great for a world that stands as one." And led by who I wonder? And what speech would be complete without those magical words "tyranny, security, freedom, fear, democracy, terrorists, terror"

Perhaps these words were another advert for the NWO? "In this new world, such dangerous currents have swept along faster than our efforts to contain them. That is why we cannot afford to be divided. No one nation, no matter how large or powerful, can defeat such challenges alone."

Obama did occasionally touch on the truth when he said "In Europe, the view that America is part of what has gone wrong in our world, rather than a force to help make it right, has become all too common." Iraq is not the only example of this "force" and a policy that he seems destined to continue if he becomes President.

He is fond of using fine words, but doesnīt really have any intention of backing them up. Here is another example "The walls between old allies on either side of the Atlantic cannot stand. The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand. The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down."

I agree, we must tear down these walls. Perhaps we can start with the one Israel built?

Obama made many references to the Soviet Union and nuclear weapons, saying that this is the moment to renew the goal of a world without nuclear weapons. Again, wise words, but why the obsession with a country (Iran) that hasnīt even got any yet? Surely, we should start with those that have, like India, Pakistan, Israel....But Obama repeated the same old rhetoric that all the other politicians are making "My country must stand with yours and with Europe in sending a direct message to Iran that it must abandon its nuclear ambitions."

His views of the USA need to be updated somewhat when he said "we can live free from fear and free from want; that we can speak our minds and assemble with whomever we choose and worship as we please." If the government stopped trying to scare the citizens to death every 5 minutes, they probably could live without fear. There are a growing number of people in the US who are not free from want, and whilst you still might be able to speak your minds on the internet (at the moment) and in your own homes, this freedom does not extend to the Mainstream Media!

Almost every possible subject was included in his speech, including Global Warming and a call to "save this planet". He spoke of rising oceans, famine, terrible storms and the carbon we send into our atmosphere (although he didnīt mention anything about a plague of frogs or locust!)

Obamaīs style (if we can say it is his) had a mixture of flavors. A few Martin Luther King "dreams", the "beaches" of Churchill, some Al Gore "truths" and maybe just a tiny amount of Jesus, but very little Barack Obama.

The message, in short, was telling people what they want to hear, but with very little hope of them getting it. In that respect Barack Obama is much like any other politician, full of.......
