Can "Joe" still "fix-it" for McCain?
However, in some rural areas, the race might be a little closer, with some reporting the two candidates as "neck and neck".This also appears to be the case down in Florida (Bush country), which has been something of a "magical" state for the Republicans during the last two Presidential elections. Is it possible that the Election result will once again be decided by Florida?
I share the view of many others in that it doesn´t really matter who wins this race, as they both work for the same masters. However, there are millions of people out there who actually believe there is some difference between them. Unfortunately, the only difference is that one is old, and one is young. One is Black, and one is White. The only "change" you are going to see is a different face giving you the BS for the next 4 years. You may not believe that at the moment, but remember these words when you start complaining again in a year or so from now. You could have insisted on more candidates to choose from, but you didn´t, so you only have yourselves to blame.
It´s difficult to say which is the hardest to believe, the fact that American´s have been duped again into believing that there was actually a Presidential race, or the people shouting and waving their banners, and getting excited about all of it.
The only good news is that this long, mind numbing and contrived campaign will finally come to an end. Hopefully, with the campaign distraction out of the way, people will be able to concentrate more seriously on the current financial problems facing the US and the rest of the world!
However, before that happens, the public will be fed a little more "drama" on voting day (just like your favorite TV program) to once again make it look like a close race. Over the next 11 days you will probably see Obama´s lead shorten (where have we seen that before?) and as the results start coming in we will witness a few "surprises". Maybe there will be another "recount" to add a little spice (and increase the TV ratings).

And the eventual winner? It doesn´t really matter, but as McCain has already come back from the dead once (during the early stages of the campaign), you can´t rule him out as a possibility (if they are using the same script as last time). For those who are going to watch the whole show, Good Luck! Personally, I don´t like watching repeats!
