Hunter Gold Farming Guide - 3 WoW Hunter Gold Farming Tips to Make You More Gold
1. Use your Hunter Pet
Ideally, you'll want to be specced BeastMaster and then have a good DPS pet (such as a cat). Then you can let your pet take down low level (green con) humanoid mobs easily and sell all the drops on the auction house. Besides some cash, you should get lots of cloth, greens and blues
2. Combine two gathering professions
As a hunter, you don't need to worry too much about gold because you can easily level without having a lot of it. Still, there's no reason to take up some crafting profession which is going to suck up your cash. Stick to gathering professions. You can do a combo of skinning/mining, herbalism/mining or herbalism/skinning.
You can make good cash from skinning by skinning beasts and selling the hides. Or if you want to try the herbalism and mining combo you can sell whatever herbs and ore you find at the Auction House.
3. Do your Daily Quests
Once you hit level 70, making gold is easy if you do all of your dailies. There are so many different types of daily quests that you can do, so I would recommend doing 5 to 10 every day if you can. Cooking and fishing quests are dead easy, as are gathering quests. There are also daily battleground quest that you can do. All of the gold adds up pretty fast.
If you're rolling a Hunter, the WoW Hunter leveling guide can help you out with tips on what stats to spec for in the character class, in addition to providing a step-by-step leveling guide designed just for Hunters. The Hunter class guide provides gold-making tips as well, but for more on making gold, Luke's gold guide has a lot of information that can help even if you aren't at least a level 70 yet.
