There's a little-knwon sky box quietly tucked away at the very top of the Bryant Park tents, hidden behind curtains that shield it from curious eyes. This American Express sky is a real, rare pportunity for a primarily female, fashion-focused audience of premium American Express card members to see real fashion shows from within the Bryant Park tents. This is a veteran Fashion Week reporter's view of what goes on in the sky box at Fashion Week.

Dr. Norman S. Blackman, a cardiologist and prominent member of New York City´s medical community, died in Yonkers on Friday March 14, 2008. He was 88 years old and an exceptional man. Since there was no funeral, this is a written tribute.

Dr. Norman S. Blackman, a cardiologist and prominent member of New York City´s medical community, died in Yonkers on March 14, 2008. He was 88 years old. As well as treating thousands of patients in his more than 40 years as a physician, he was active in New York City and New York State's medical community as Past President of the Kings County Medical Society and the New York State Society of Internal Medicine. He was hailed as a hero by local papers. This is an obituary for an exceptional man.
